In a recent article published by Mic media, a media company that caters to millennials, Birmingham was compared to cities like New Orleans, Memphis and Charleston for our food scene.  The article claims “Birmingham is the capital of the new south” and points out the fact that “Pepper Place is in the center of a 20-some-block that runs between Avondale and downtown”. We are smack in the middle of the action and we are thrilled to be here.

We are so proud of all that Pepper Place has to offer and our restaurants are some of our greatest features. Whether you are craving a pizza like you would get in Italy or a live fire meal from Brazil, we have it for you. We are also excited about the new Za’atar opening this fall. In addition to some of our flagship restaurants, we have great options for casual dining. The salads and sandwiches at Red Cat are a great option for a quick lunch and a taco and cold cerveza from Cantina is the perfect way to kick off the weekend. We also have some of the best options for outdoor dining in Birmingham.

We are proud of the press that Birmingham has been getting. We have worked hard to watch the city reach it’s potential and have made great strides revitalizing our Magic City. We plan to keep it up, keeping our residents proud and our visitors a little stunned!
