If you are in the market for the perfect antique or vintage piece, put Found Birmingham at the top of your list of sources. Sonia Davis has found a niche in the antiques market that appeals to digital savvy clients who appreciate a curated, quality and beautiful selection.

Found was born of a love of antiques and interiors combined with a desire to simplify the shopping experience for clients. The unique business model allows the “freedom to travel and bring new items to the shop, allows us more time to curate and be selective about what we buy, and gives our clients and designer friends the opportunity to be part of an exclusive shopping experience, if desired,” explains Sonia. “Instagram allows our customers to shop from wherever they are, instantly. Pieces move very quickly around here, so we are grateful for the flexibility our model allows so that we can do the fun part – the hunting and buying!”

How does it work?

Sonia explains that Found has “monthly in person shopping events at our showroom one Sunday a month from 10-2. The dates are announced on Instagram, on our website and via emails, if you are signed up for those. We are also by appointment and post items to our Instagram often. For Instagram posts, you can message us to get pricing, ask additional questions and decide if you’d like to purchase or come see the piece in person.”

Found will deliver locally, ship nationwide and welcome you to browse the showroom at Pepper Place, which Sonia refers to as a “pretty warehouse”. They love being at Pepper Place, surrounded by chefs, architects, interior designers and “all the creative and talented people that make Pepper Place such an exciting place.”
