Dog Days of Summer

We are all soaking up the last days of Summer before the school year starts and looking for fun things to do with the family — including our pups! One of our favorite places to bring both the family and the pup, is Back40. With a wonderful and expansive outdoor space it’s the best space to hang with friends, grab a bite, play corn hole, and more! We recommend, if you are going to bring your canine friends, to come close to sundown. The heat is hard on us, but even harder on our pups. Stop by around dusk, enjoy the sunset with a cold beer in hand, and mans best friend by your side.

Now where should you not take your pooch? The Market at Pepper Place…at least for now! The Market at Pepper Place is well known for being a dog-friendly spot, but during the Summer months, we kindly ask that you leave your pups at home. The insane heat, paired with the concrete sidewalks and asphalt parking lots, can very easily burn the paws of your pooch. Wait until the temps cool down to bring them to the Market!
