Designer Billy Reid’s high-quality aesthetic and commitment to timeless craftsmanship have made him a standout presence at New York Fashion Week over the years. Where deep-rooted Southern inspiration meets contemporary edge, Reid’s collections consistently bring a refreshing blend of sophistication to the runway.

His ability to infuse his designs with a sense of lived-in luxury has not only earned him a devoted following but also solidified his position as a staple on the runways of New York Fashion Week. Billy Reid makes clothing that is built to last and is beloved by many high profile industry names like Daniel Craig, Jon Hamm, Paul Rudd, and more.

Although his flagship store is located in Florence, Alabama with outposts across the country including one right here at Pepper Place, Reid still has strong ties to New York. The brand has a shop located in the West Village of NYC, and a room in the Chelsea Hotel served as an unofficial office space, studio, and showroom for the brand in its early days, but Alabama is always home.

As the 2023 Fall NYFW kicks off its annual celebration of fashion designers from all over the globe, we are highlighting how Billy Reid incorporates this season’s must have hues into his recent collection. A few of the Pantone Color Institute’s Pantone Fashion Color Trend Report are beautifully woven throughout the Fall ’23 Ivy South collection, and we’ve picked a few of our favorites and featured them here.
