Southbound Heritage Dinner at Pepper Place

The Southbound Food Festival kicks off at Pepper Place with its annual Heritage Dinner, a multi-course seated dinner celebrating an ingredient with deep roots in Southern cooking.

This year’s dinner is all about the chicken and the egg, with local and regional chefs each bringing their own take to the table.

The evening will also honor Chef Anne Quatrano, this year’s recipient of the Frank Stitt Award for Industry Excellence. Anne has been a longtime leader in Southern food and a champion of farm-to-table cooking, sustainability and the farmers and producers behind it all.

We’re excited to welcome Southbound back to Pepper Place and kick off ten days celebrating the people, food and traditions that make our region so special.
