Pepper Place Market 2014 Seasonal Details

Spring Season: April 12 - May 3

Alabama Spring Produce
-  greens (collards, turnips, etc.)
-  strawberries
-  cauliflower
-  spinach
-  greenhouse tomatoes
-  locally raised non-gmo/no-msg pork
-  locally raised beef
-  free range eggs
 

  • All farmers, artisans, food, craft, and ready-to-eat food vendors will be located in the "Big Parking Lot", located on 2nd Ave. S. between 28th & 29th St. South.
     
  • Local musicians each week on the "Front Porch Stage", sponsored by DeKalb Office Alabama
     

Summer Season: May 10 - October 4

Alabama Summer Produce 
greens, herbs, strawberries, cauliflower, lettuce, spinach, beets, cabbage, onions, peas (snow, english, etc.), blackberries, cantalopes, okra, figs, eggplant, peaches, summer peas, potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, watermelons, summer squash, beans (green, snap, etc.), blueberries, brocolli, corn, cucumbers, locally raised non-gmo/no-msg pork, locally raised beef, free range eggs
 

  • We welcome additional farmers, artisans, craft, ready-to-eat food vendors and food trucks to 29th Street, located between 2nd and 3rd Avenue South.
     
  • A 2nd music stage ("29th Street Stage") will be added with local weekly musicians, sponsored by Limbaugh Toyota Scion.
     
  • Weekly Chef Demonstrations will be held each week in the Chef Demo area, located in the loading dock between 29th Street and the "Big Parking Lot", sponsored by Jim 'n Nicks BBQ. Demonstrations will begin around 9 am.

Fall Season: October 11 - December 13

Alabama Fall Produce
greens (collards, turnips, etc.), herbs, pecans, sweet potatoes, onions, cucumbers, apples, muscadines, winter squash, persimmon, pumpkins, brussel sprouts, rutabega, meyer lemons, satsumas (not to be confused with oranges), locally raised non-gmo/no-msg pork, locally raised beef, free range eggs, greenhouse tomatoes
 

  • All farmers, artisans, food, craft, and ready-to-eat food vendors will be located in the "Big Parking Lot", located on 2nd Ave. S. between 28th & 29th St. South.
     
  • Local musicians each week on the "Front Porch Stage", sponsored by DeKalb Office Alabama.
